Get your head out of your phone and into the Earth with this ceramic sculpture
workshop with Asia Mathis. Students will learn to sculpt a human head in clay,
using coil and pinch techniques, and how to effectively incorporate nature imagery and reference to complete a sculpture that has both personal and universal meaning. Students will leave with a bisque fired piece between 12 to 18 inches tall and improved skills in human facial sculpting and hopefully a sense of grounding and self-expression.
